160,000
Companies valued

Already live inside Rasmal

Rasmal
A cap table platform in Saudi Arabia and the wider EMEA region. It has used the Equidam API since September 2023 to value startups for founders and investors on its own platform.
What your users getinside your product
You choose how deep the integration goes. Equidam runs the valuation engine, the data and the report, and you keep the interface and the customer relationship.

Full API
The whole valuation in your interface
Your platform sends the company’s answers and financials. The API returns the valuation and its range, all six methods and the assumptions behind them, and you can update a company by sending new inputs.

Reports
A co-branded report for each company
Each valuation comes with a PDF report of about 35 pages covering methodology, assumptions, benchmarks and sensitivity analysis. It carries your brand next to ours, and an auditor can read it without logging in.

Portfolios
A whole portfolio at once
Funds upload their data from Excel and export the full portfolio for audit schedules and LP reports. The valuation recalculates every time an input changes.

No-build option
Connect, if you're not ready to integrate
Send your users to Equidam with your own affiliate link and pull the finished valuation back as a PDF or as data through our API endpoints. There is no integration cost, and you earn an affiliate fee.
We run the valuation.
You run the product.
Valuation is a specialist job that never ends, because the data and the guidelines keep changing. That part stays with us.
1What Equidam does
We develop the algorithm, research and update the data, maintain the benchmarks and design the reports. Our help desk answers your users’ questions about the methodology.
2What your team does
You build the screens your users see and handle payment, so you set the price and the valuation becomes a line on your own pricing page.
3Why it holds up in an audit
The methodology follows the IPEV guidelines and is published, and every input has a documented source. Funds have closed external audits on valuations built with Equidam.
Everything in the Year-End Marks Pilot
The engine, the reports and the auditor documentation exist today. The pilot packages them so you can test valuation with your own customers before you commit to a licence.
The pilot costs €2,500 for 60 days and is credited in full to your first year. After the pilot, the platform licence is priced on a call with our team, based on how many companies you value.
From first call to live in four steps
1
Technical call
We go through your use case, the data you already hold and how deep you want the integration to go.
2
Commercial agreement
Once you approve the proposal, we send our standard contract for your review.
3
Build
When the contract is signed, you receive sandbox and production credentials and start building against the API.
4
Launch
We support the launch technically and commercially, including the questions your first users ask.

You can read the API documentation before the call.
Built for audits and data protection
IPEV-compliant methodology
Our methodology is published and follows the IPEV valuation guidelines. Your customers and their auditors can read it before anyone signs.
Auditor-ready output
Each report stands on its own, every changed parameter shows as an override against a documented benchmark, and auditors can get read-only access. We are not a third-party valuer, so the fund still owns its mark.
European privacy
Equidam is a Dutch company and a registered data controller under the GDPR. We don’t sell or share your users’ data.
Try it with your own customers first
You shouldn't sign a yearly licence before you have seen your own funds use it.
The design-partner pilot
For 60 days, your team values up to 25 of your customers’ companies through the API, with co-branded reports. If you continue, the pilot fee counts in full towards your first year.
Design partners keep their pilot terms for 24 months and help decide what we build next for platforms.
We have three design-partner slots for the first quarter of 2027, because one integration engineer builds every integration.
Our guarantees
If your users can’t run a valuation inside your product within 60 days of receiving sandbox credentials, and the delay is on our side, we refund the pilot fee and you keep every report.
For the first 12 months, if an auditor questions the methodology or a data source behind a valuation built on your platform, an Equidam analyst writes the answer at no charge.
What platforms and investors say about us

The network receives an update on every company on a quarterly basis and based on that update, we calculate the Net Asset Value of the company with Equidam. In this way we can show an updated price per Unit since everyone owns a piece of the SPIC.

As an angel investor, Equidam allows me to make more efficient investment decisions. I no longer have to create financial models for every company I evaluate
Year-end is coming
Give your funds a documented mark for every holding before the year-end audit.
The 2025 IPEV Guidelines apply to quarters starting on or after 1 April 2026, so this year-end is the first under the new text.
Questions platforms ask before they integrate
No. Equidam is the platform a fund uses to calculate its own valuations. We provide the methodology, the benchmark data and the documentation. The fund’s partners own the numbers, the auditor audits them, and we stand behind the methodology and the data sources.
No tool can promise that an auditor accepts a mark. What we can show is a published methodology that follows the IPEV guidelines, a documented source for every input, a self-contained report and read-only access for the auditor. Funds have already closed external audits on valuations built with Equidam. Under IFRS 13 and ASC 820, classifying the inputs into levels stays a decision for the fund and its auditor.
The 2025 edition applies to quarters starting on or after 1 April 2026 and says the price of a recent investment is not a default for fair value. Re-running a holding each quarter with current inputs gives the fund the calibration the guidelines ask for. A fund can still keep recent-round companies at round price, update mature ones on multiples only and fully re-value the rest, all in one portfolio.
It depends on the route. Connect needs an affiliate link and our API endpoints. For the full API, you get sandbox and production credentials as soon as the contract is signed. Once it runs, a fund’s first valuation cycle takes about two hours per company and later cycles about twenty minutes, because the inputs and policy choices are already in place.
In the pilot, if your users can’t run a valuation within 60 days and the delay is on our side, we refund the pilot fee.
Yes. Reports can carry only the Equidam brand or be co-branded with your platform. They keep a “Powered by Equidam” mark, because auditors and investors outside your platform should see where the methodology comes from.
Equidam values the company as a whole. How that value splits across share classes and preference stacks depends on the terms each fund holds, and we will go through your data model on the first call.
Equidam is based in the Netherlands and is the registered data controller for the personal data on its platform under the GDPR. We don’t sell or share data.
The price depends on the route and on the number of companies you value. Connect has no integration cost and pays you an affiliate fee. The pilot costs €2,500 for 60 days, credited in full to your first year, and the platform licence after it is priced on the call. You set the price your own customers pay.
